Who is ECHO?

Echo is the European Confederation of Healing Organisations; it is an Umbrella Organisation to accommodate Healing Organisations in the whole of Europe, the Political as well as the Geographic Europe.

Why was ECHO formed?

Echo was formed to enable Healing Organisations in different countries of Europe to join forces and speak with one voice to European politicians.

Health Services within the European Market, though at the moment still under the jurisdiction of the individual countries, will one day come under the ruling of European law. This could very well mean that in those countries where healing is allowed, it could eventually be forbidden! The member Organisations of ECHO hold the opinion that Healing, as it is allowed in the UK and some other European countries, should be permitted in all countries in the European Market.
At a time when a number of countries in Europe are struggling to maintain their Health Services, consideration should be given to which Complementary Healing Services could be made available to help relieve the strains on the resources of the established Health Services, but which means can be used that do not put a strain on the resources of the Health services.
